As we close this Proverbs series, we turn to one of Scripture’s most repeated themes: money and generosity. Proverbs makes it clear that generosity is not just a nice idea, it’s a wisdom issue, a heart issue, and a reflection of God’s character. This message asks two important questions: Why should I be generous? and Where should my generosity go?
First, we see that generosity brings blessing—not always financial gain, and never as a manipulative promise of prosperity, but as a real spiritual return from God. Even more, generosity is born from the blessing we’ve already received: everything we have ultimately comes from God and belongs to Him.
Through stories of life change at PCC, from kids and students to prison campuses, ramps, special needs families, restored marriages, and baptisms, we’re reminded that giving to the local church is investing in eternal impact.
This message is an invitation to move beyond occasional giving and become truly generous people, because God has blessed us, God is still moving, and we get to be part of His work in the world.
