What does it mean to be faithful with what God has entrusted to you? In this message from Matthew 25, we look at Jesus’ Parable of the Talents and the weighty truth that every follower of Jesus has been given something of immense value: a place in the kingdom of God and a responsibility to help it grow.
At PCC, we define faithfulness as doing the best you can with what you’ve been given. But faithfulness is not measured by comparison, whether you’ve been given five bags, two bags, or one. It’s not about how much you have; it’s about what you do with it.
Through this parable, we see that faithfulness requires both urgency and responsibility. God has given us time, gifts, resources, passions, relationships, and opportunities, not to bury out of fear, but to invest for His purpose. This message is a challenge to stop waiting, stop comparing, and start using what God has placed in your hands so that one day we can hear the words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
