Why Tanzania?
Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world with 58% of the people living on less than $1 a day. A child dies from malaria every 30 seconds, and less than 20% of AIDS patients receive treatment. Together for Tanzania exists to break the cycle of poverty through education.
PCC partners with Together for Tanzania (TFT) to provide support through student sponsorship and funding for Save Life English Medium School. Through access to education people in Tanzania are better equipped to care for their families, serve their communities and impact positive changes in their country. Together for Tanzania works directly with Tanzanian educators, pastors and businessmen to identify needs and to determine the best approach for assistance and relief.
Help Build a School
We need your help to complete the next two classrooms for grade three students, who are meeting in the admin building until their rooms are completed. Ultimately, Save Life will go through grade 7 and consist of 16 classrooms, two for each grade, including preschool.
The construction cost of each classroom is $13,000. We invite you to partner with us in this exciting journey. With your help, we can break the cycle of poverty through education.
Together for Tanzania is a volunteer nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible and payable to Together for Tanzania. You will receive a letter acknowledging your charitable contribution. Thank you for your support.
Sponsor a Student
Save Life has 42 orphan students who need sponsoring. Sponsoring one of these students will not only assure their education but will also remove the financial responsibility from Save Life and generate revenue for the operation of the school. Your donation to Together for Tanzania may be the only hope for an orphan to be educated, for a church to be completed, or for a widow to be cared for. You can give hope where help is needed.
OPTIONS
1. Sponsor a student’s annual school fee for $615.
2. Make a general donation for school supplies or a partial sponsorship.
