Pastor Angie Frame kicks off our summer series exploring what it means to venture “Into the Wild” – not just physically, but spiritually. As many of us head outdoors during the warmer months, we’re invited to step into the wilderness in a deeper, more meaningful way: to meet God in unexpected places.
We begin our journey by looking at John the Baptist – a bold, unconventional figure living in the desert outside Jerusalem. Dressed in camel’s hair and sustained by locusts and wild honey, John challenges us with his single-minded devotion to his God-given purpose: preparing the way for Jesus.
Pastor Angie reminds us that just like John, we’re called to prepare the way for others to encounter Christ. Whether your wilderness is a remote mountain, a cluttered spare room, or the chaos of everyday life, God meets us there – and invites us to help others find Him too.
