We invite you to join us as we learn about opportunities to “Do Good” in our community by providing much-needed assistance to individuals and families. Many of us are prompted to show compassion to others in need, but we don’t always know how. Helen Trevey, Executive Director of Belmont Community Resource Services (Belmont), will provide an overview of Belmont’s services. Their vision is to be a community where our neighbors’ essential needs are met, and acts of service reflect God’s heart—building dignity, stability, and connection.
Belmont accomplishes its mission with two vital services:
- The Belmont Food Pantry – providing weekly food to nearly 650 families each week.
- The Closet at Belmont – a free store providing clothing, housewares, small appliances, hygiene items, toys, books, and much more.
We will learn how we can help with both cash and physical donations, as well as volunteering.
