That's So Metal
Gold, silver, and bronze mean glory and fame for Olympic athletes. But their place in human history goes far beyond the arena. These metals specifically are present in nearly every aspect of life. They are important, symbolic metals for us today, just like they were in biblical times. And the way they were used and the symbols they represented then have so much to teach us here today. So as we cheer for our favorites to go for the gold and watch them take the medal stand this summer, let’s look at how these metals are mentioned in the Bible. Let’s discover what they have meant for God’s people throughout history, and what they can mean for us now in a series we’re calling “That’s So Metal”.
