Side by Side

We were not created to go it alone. We were made for community and for doing life together. God cares deeply how his followers value, treat, talk, and think about each other AND how his followers value, treat, talk, and think about people who are not followers of Jesus. We live in a world that has almost universally abandoned the basic tenants that God laid out for how we are to relate to other people. But we don’t have to be like the rest of the world. In fact, if the followers of Jesus act the way Jesus wanted his followers to act, the whole world might become followers of Jesus. In this series, we will look at four critical virtues that should be the guiding principles for how we relate to everyone around us: love, kindness, forgiveness, and peace. Each week will unpack what is it, why would you want it, and how you get it.
