Learn About the Passover Seder

Join us for a special treat as we learn about the Passover Seder, which is a Jewish ritual feast commemorating God’s deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. Passover is also significant to Christians as it symbolizes Jesus as the “Lamb of God,” whose sacrifice provides salvation and atonement for sins. The Last Supper which Jesus shared with His disciples during Passover is also seen as the institution of the Lord’s Supper, linking the two events.

We are excited to have Rabbi David Wein teach us about the significance of the Passover remembrance, as well as the customs and symbolic foods. Rabbi David is a rabbi with Tikvat Israel, which is a Messianic synagogue in Richmond. Tikvat Israel is a place where Jewish people and their family and friends can experience a Jewish service while believing that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah of Israel. We will participate in communion together after enjoying our own lunches.
