Our Partner Impact Disaster Response has established a site in Damascus where we will house volunteers and equipment for ongoing response. We are currently seeking volunteers in the following areas: Assessment, Cleanup (mudout), Crisis Care, and Feeding (cook teams for volunteers). As soon as we are able, we will begin rebuild operations to help as many homeowners as possible be ready for winter. PCC and Impact Disaster Response have always entered a response with a view to the long-term, and we need your help as we work alongside these communities for the next several months. Please consider how you can serve, please consider giving to support the recovery, and please pray for those affected and those responding. PCC is gathering a team now to deploy from March 3rd-8th.
