As part of the ongoing recovery from Hurricane Helene and record flooding in Southwest Virginia, we will partner with Impact Disaster Response to spend a week in one of three locations this October. Our team will be completing rebuild projects in Grundy, Hurley, or Damascus. As part of this response, we are seeking 12 volunteers to assist with drywall work, basic construction, trim, and finishing tasks. We are also looking for a cooking team lead and possibly one kitchen support volunteer. Tools and transportation will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to drive themselves at their own expense.
