Communication in Parenting

March 14 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

« All Events

Have you ever felt like your child didn’t hear a word you just said? You’re not alone.

This parenting workshop focuses on practical and meaningful ways to communicate with children ages 2–10, and why the way we communicate truly matters. We’ll gather as adults to explore communication styles, common challenges, and tools you can use right away at home.

After the adult session, you’ll join your children for a guided activity designed to encourage positive, healthy communication as a family.

Before attending:
Please complete the communication quiz ahead of time. Each person in your family should complete it individually and bring it with you for reference—it will help shape one portion of our time together. Quiz will be sent after you register.

Space is limited to 12 adults to allow for meaningful discussion.

Hosted by Michelle Jones, Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Registered Play Therapist.
We can’t wait to see you and your family!
